Like any junkie, I had to get my sal****er fix before heading out to
Wyoming for a month so took the Tolman out just to cruise around today. Scallop season started today (early this year) and I have never seen so may boats in local waters. It seemed like anything that would float was going out of St Marks to get scallops, most vessels too small to even cross a creek with. We just went out to the sand bar to swim for awhile and then came in and went up the Wakulla River to swim in spring water. Coming back down, the afternoon sea breeze had started and was causing thunderstorms over land creating even more of a draft so it was very choppy. Hope all those little rafts got in ok. |

Sounds like a good day. Mine *is* going in the water this week. Maybe tomorrow if the weather holds. |
