And while it is struck as law, it can be disobeyed in spirit and in point. It is constantly being attacked. The people who crafted the US Constitution were an amazing breed of honorable people. I can't say such politicians (any party) exist today that are as wise, have as much integrity or honor as these gentlemen did. Cant think though if they knew about tax-debt-slavery, they would not have an amendment of pay as you go. Thus, a government greedy peoples could not enslave their offspring with their debts. -- Now the real war is on Obama-debt, to save America's future. And do it for your kids sake....and ignore the selfish fleabags... |

My five year old grandson is more fluent in English and two other languages than you are in English. More bull**** and lies. Now he's got a grandson who it tri-lingual? LOL! Right... It's not that unusual in multicultural families where intellectuality is promoted. I was multilingual by seven. My parents were native-born Americans and spoke perfect English, but my grandparents and many other relatives were Europeans by birth and English was their second, third, or fourth language. Thus, I was exposed to and learned Russian from my father's father, who spoke it whenever he was among his old friends. Since he took me everywhere with him when I visited, he taught me basic Russian (speaking, not writing) and I was able to continue that "education" in high school, where Russian was one of the language options. I didn't learn to write in Cyrillic until high school, but I could speak the language good enough to get along in Moscow, my high school Russian teacher (a native-born Russian) said. My grandson speaks and writes English at a much higher grade level than he is in, my daughter speaks two languages in addition to English, and her European-born husband speaks three languages in addition to English. There are three languages spoken every day in their household. I don't think my grandkids will be wasting their time in kiddie motorbike competitions as they grow up. -- Want to discuss recreational boating and fishing in a forum where personal insults are not allowed? http://groups.google.com/group/rec-boating-fishing |

And he's "fluent" in three at 5 years old!!! Of course, anyone with a brain knows that a child doesn't develop "fluent" single language until later than that! http://www.multilingualliving.com/20...lingual-child- fluent-all-three-languages/ And as a matter of fact, there's quite a few studies out there that suggest strongly that even a second language at that age can be detrimental to the child learning his native language first. |
