He and his staff know that. Therefore, his statements regarding SS checks being withheld are nothing more than scare tactics to gain support for his side. I don't like that kind of dishonest politics. Eisboch It's very similar to what our county, and probably most others, does when taxpayers raise hell about higher taxes for schools... The President is not the one who allocates money. That's up to the Congress, who is threatening to default. Why aren't you calling for all the people who voted against raising the debt ceiling to give up their pay and staff? Dream on fleabagger. It is very much linked to revenue losses. But that is fleabaggers in denial. USA credit downgrade might be good for USA, as interest rates are fraudulently low and part of the problem. Higher rates might soak up some of the $3 trillion plus of Bernanke currency fraud and abate inflation a bit. -- Obama, enslaving Americans with debt-tax slavery for a spending binge. Yep, Obama has money to fight a Saudi-Euro regime grudge match, but meanwhile 1.5+ million American kids are in homeless families in California. Foreign aide and corporate bailouts should be the first to get the axe as well as a long furrow for 1/2 the military. Too bad people would not wake up and do this with CPP (Canada) and SS (US). Pooled funds are all skimmed and bamboozled. Take social security, Obama has already ****ed it away. US government pays zero percent interest and inflation diminishes the value of SS every year. That is on Aug 2nd, Obama needs to direct income to SS to cover its debt to the people. I know, paying debts to its people in good faith isn't something government likes to do.
