Default ...what next? Why your guitar of course...

It is obvious that Gibson didn't make the correct political
contributions to the correct political party.

What nonsense. Does anyone remember voting for a government like
this? How did it happen? How do we fix it?

Are you leading by example?

Good question though.

It's not totally off topic. A lot of this governmental nonsense
spills over into the world of boating. As an example take a look at
the so called Manatee "endangered species" regs, the EPA "no
discharge zones" crusade or the Cuban off-limits rules.

Our trawler must have at least half a tropical rain forest in it.
What if we had to document the origin of every inch of that wood every
time we came back into the country like the guitar and piano folks are
doing?

As I said, "Good question though."

Now, if you had a daughter aboard, and if customs were taking hours ripping your decking off, and if
she had an Obama Doll, then she'd be a happy little boater.

Obama Dolls are not totally off topic either!

Or, if your daughter had an Obama Doll, you'd probably call her a
racist, since you are one and are insecure about it.

I believe that if she held it high in face of the aggressors, it would
help to call off the evil spirits. Then they wouldn't know why they
were summoned and walk away.
