SEAL BEACH, Calif. —
A gunman opened fire Wednesday in a busy hair salon, killing eight
people and critically wounding another while leaving bodies scattered
throughout the business in a normally sedate Southern California beach
community.

The gunman got into a truck and drove away from Salon Meritage after
opening fire. A suspect was stopped by officers about a half-mile away
and surrendered without incident while saying he had multiple weapons
with him, police Sgt. Steve Bowles said.

How come all of these shootings keep happening in anti-second amendment
states? Could it be the bad guys know their victims are going to lay
down and take the ass ****ing like you say you would??

Too bad no one was armed in the salon. It might have saved some lives.

But the gun coward, JPS, took their guns away, except for the criminals.

Why call Scott a bad guy? Sure, he might be bad NOW.
But before this unfortunate incident we was well-like, respected, and
law-abiding.
Courageous too. Messed up his leg trying to save his skipper's life.
Not sure if he followed proper procedure in doing the right paperwork
for his guns, but it's his 2nd amendment right to own firearms in
California.
Maybe if everybody in the salon had been carrying, a couple of them
might have survived. Wouldn't have stopped him right off, because he
was on a mission, and knew he had the drop on them.
He knew he was throwing his own life away, and the guy had guts.
Seems he could have got his ex alone and just strangled her.
But with guns, why not take out everybody? No big deal. Just keep
pulling the trigger. Same punishment probably, and with a gun you can
REALLY show them who's boss.
That's the great thing about guns.
You can REALLY show 'em who's the big guy.
Just keep pulling the trigger. Show them MOFO's.
Sad to see a boater come to this.
Killing all those innocent people.
But the 2nd amendment must be upheld. That's how it is.
They'll be plenty more.

There are some hot-headed morons in this newsgroup who shouldn't be
