The New York Times today reports one of Cain's accusers received $35,000, a year's salary, in severance pay after an incident with Cain that made her uncomfortable. The story said the incident came "in the context of a work outing during which there had been heavy drinking." Joel Bennett, the attorney for another Cain accuser, said last night that he plans to ask the National Restaurant Association to release his client from a confidentiality agreement so she can tell her story. "She's been very upset about this since the story broke...because Mr. Cain has been giving the impression she came out and made false allegations," Bennett said on CNN. "That's certainly not true." Cain, who has maintained he was "falsely accused" of sexual harassment, told Fox News on Tuesday night that he's not sure if he'll ask the association to comply with Bennett's request. He suggested there could be "legal implications," and said he would consult with his lawyers. I figure Romney and Perry are certainly masonic insider old boys club just like 0bama. And I view this club as part of the problem, not the solution. Given that I wonder if Cain is the victim of arranged politics? Cain being black has the left in a confused mess, how to attack him. The vote only black crowd might switch. And we know the old boys club wants their man on the ballot. 1/2 the reason I like Bachmann and Palin, you can be certain they are not old boys golden handshake material. Just guessing, but bet Cain isn't a golden handshake boy. But would be a good question to ask. See if he wears the ring and ask him outright, is he a mason and if so what degree. And look for that golden handshake. You're ****ing crazy. Now you're going after freemasonry? You should have to present yourself for an examination of your mental/emotional faculties. The masons as they call themselves are up to their ears in community and regional charitable works, and run free hospitals for burned and otherwise injured and sick children. Get help for your paranoia. Uh, just because the masons have charity doesn't mean that they don't have a secretive society that has some very dark past history. Trust me, I know.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - You certainly show your "dark past history" in this newsgroup! I do? What exactly is my "dark past history", suckling Don? When Donny thinks of mason he's thinking canning jars. It's the old back woodsman coming out in him. -- 1-20-13 The end of an error- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Sorry O' Stinky One... I'm a born& bred city boy...... well except for the ten years I spent in my hand built Cape Cod in the Burbs. Worked in the city though and couldn't wait to get back in 24/7. Figures. That be swave and deboiner cozmipolitin Don you be talkin to. You'd think he'd be savvy enough not to leave his minn kota out where other city boys could help themselves to it. Next they'll come back for the whole boat. Four strong city boys could pick it up and carry it away. -- 1-20-13 The end of an error |

If the woman really got a settlement, she would have had to sign a non disclosure agreement. I think she should have to give the money back AND face breech of contract charges AND face defamation of character charges. The sleazy DNC is probably paying her lawyers fees. At least Joel Bennett has the brains to do it correctly. What bull****. You apparently don't care that Cain is a perv. Not only that, but your whole position is wrong. The woman hasn't made any statements, although Cain has publicly called her a liar. So, in rebuttal, please post what the woman said: -------------------------------------------------------------- Sounds like your idol, Bill Clinton. You do remember he lied about Monica in a deposition for a Sexual Harassment suit by Paula Jones. You said it was nobody else's business then. At least be consistent. |

I think the woman has decided to say nothing. She doesn't want to become another 'Anita Hill'. She's letting her lawyer do the talking, i.e., saying nothing. One or perhaps both of the woman are not saying anything because of the confidentiality agreement(s). I heard a report that a lawyer might release a statement today in her behalf, but not reveal her name. Meanwhile, Cain's campaign is claiming it might file a lawsuit against Politico. If it does, it'll be even more embarrassing for Cain. It's interesting that of all the GOP wannabes making the debate circuit presentations, the only classy guy in there, Huntsman, is bringing up the rear in the polls. The rest of the GOP'ers have more flies on them than an Ozarkian outhouse in August. |
