In the Republican race for the presidential nomination, Newt Gingrich's support continues to slowly grow, and he is now tied with Mitt Romney for second place, while Herman Cain just edges both of them out for the top spot. Both Cain and Romney have lost support since late October. In a new CBS News Poll, 61 percent of Republican primary voters say the sexual harassment accusations against Cain won't make any difference in their vote, but 30 percent say the charges make them less likely to back him, and that rises to 38 percent among women. Cain has lost support among women since last month - from 28 percent in October to 15 percent now. I am not so sure that this country needs a morality example right now as much as it needs someone who can identify goals and has the horsepower to do the arm twisting required to get 'er done. The last real bad ass president we had who filled that description was Lyndon Johnson. In the inner circles he was despised by many but he knew how to broker deals and make people pay if they didn't see it his way. He was a ******* to many, but a very effective leader. Eisboch I don't see Cain, Gingrich or Romney doing anything but actions to further aid the rich. Hell, you don't see any logic or rationality at all. Your doing to prove yourself stupid and vote 0bama. Harry was ordered to vote for O/bama, and he will, the obedient little snowflake that he is. -- 1-20-13 The end of an error |

Hey, like a loser poker hand, you wait until the re-shuffle. Better a new hand than a loser hand. New hand might be a loser or winner, but hanging onto a loser is a sure way to lose. -- The reason government can't fix the economic problems is government is the problem. |
