Spam is best handed at the server, but Thunderbird does have some options. There are ways to minimize spam emails in t'bird, but it is a bit more involved to do it with t'bird and usenet. I could easily set up a usenet filter to filter you out and call it Canuck-Spam, but it would be a filter, not strictly spam. The net result is the same, though...you don't see the offending posts. Not at all for the literate. Tools-Message Filters too hard for ya? Don't read much before you post, eh? What do you suppose a "Canuck-Spam" filter in usenet would be? You can lead fleabagger to water but you can't make them drink. -- The reason government can't fix the economic problems is government is the problem. How many $trillions did the Repugnant party ( currently fast becomming known as the "Parade of buffoons" ) give there friends in the arms industry, while killing millions to justify and enhance their business opportrunities. Without them calling the shots for so many years ,the US debt would be a fraction the current level. Hey, by the time 0bama finishes his first term, he will have out debt spent all GOP before him combined. If 0bama went 2 terms at his current burn rate, he will have out debt spent all presidents before him combined and then some. If after the first term US actually made a plan to repay the debt in 20 years at 0% interest rate (just the principle), it takes over 60% of all current income taxes to pay. It would take a 80% reduction in US DC spending to balance up at 0% interest. If USA had to legitimately borrow money and pay historical averages of healthy economic times of 5%, USA cannot pay its bills with real money. Since raising interest rates is a leaver of protecting a currency valuation, and 0bama-Bernanke have broken that leaver, the USA is open for a free fall. Fact is USA is economically toast, a dead economy crawling. Weak, decrepit and susceptible to attack. Imagine what would happen if Russia, India and China no longer used USDs in trade? Now you know why I am getting out of USD. USD, like the economy is a Bernanke-0bama depreciating currency and economy. -- The reason government can't fix the economic problems is government is the problem. |
