Toyota makes very good vehicles, even the RAV4. It's no truck
however, not even a proper SUV. Most SUVs will plow snow if called
upon. If you're happy with your wimpy little electric snow blower,
that's fine with me but it means that you don't get much real snow.

Here's a picture of "real snow" from my old home town:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Fultonles.jpg

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake-effect_snow

Depends on the year.
If more than 6-8 inches are on the ground, I use the electric Toro
somewhat like a shovel... skimming off the top 4 or 5 inches of snow
and then put it on the ground to finish the job.
In the winter we seem to avoid a lot of snow here in the city due to
the Atlantic Ocean's effect.
Downside... not the best place to own a snowmobile... unless you
trailer it a couple hundred miles to Cape Breton or next door to New
Brunswick.

Is this what you have Dimwitty? Technically it's not a snow blower,
it's
a power shovel. A wimpy tool for a wimpy guy.

Hey! Thanks for the quick response.
If I only has a single wide 100 ft. driveway, I wouldn't buy a
snowblower either.

Hey, that driveway in Harry's picture is a quarter of a mile, he said
so!! Must be a depth of field thing like his fat gnawed off finger
picture!!

I don't shovel snow, period. If the snow is too deep for our 4Runner in
4WD I call a landscape guy I know and get on his schedule for a plow. We
don't have sidewalks adjacent to the street in front of our houses here,
just sidewalks from the driveway to the front door. Mail is delivered at
a central set of boxes at the traffic circle down the lane. The reality
is, after a heavy snow, until our streets around here are plowed, no one
without a big-tired 4WD vehicle and tire chains is going anywhere.

It's different in more urban areas, where I believe you are required to
clear the sidewalk adjacent to the street in front of your house and
your walkway so the mailman can get to your door.

In other words, you are a lazy piece of crap.

Not allowed to live anywhere near civilized people, Stinky One??

There are very few places in the United States uglier than the area in
central florida where flajim lives. Flat, scrubby, palmetto bushes,
skinny trees, hot as hades. Blech.

Sounds like a perfect place for the FlatulentOne.
He can 'freshen the air' and not bother a person or creature for miles.

Indeed. There are some really pretty places in Florida, no shortage of
them, really, but Central Florida, with few exceptions, isn't on the
list. The topography is boringly flat, the flora is scrawny and
typically pine, the soil is sandy, and as you head towards the state's
lower latitudes, the heat builds up quickly, especially inland.

If it weren't for Disney, Orlando would be a one-horse town. We went to
Disneyworld the first summer it was open (1972, I think) and while it
was a terrific destination, Orlando was nowheresville. Even the airport
back then was a joke.

If you believe Harry's take on central Florida you are as stupid as he
is, Suckling Don.

In order to consider the validity of Krause's opinion, we must first
make note of his choices of residence. New Haven CT, Topeka Kansas,
Jacksonville Florida, and finally, the garden spot of South Maryland, "A
designated Place", where the fragrance of the Chesapeke Bay, fills the
air he breathes, no matter which way the wind blows.
I'm thinking Krause is clueless.

You got a point there....

Indeed, I was born at what is now Yale-New Haven Hospital, and I lived
with my parents in a nice suburb of New Haven during the school year and
at a cottage in Milford at Long Island Sound in the summer. It was
tough, but someone had to do it.

Never lived in Topeka. Visited it.

Had office in Jacksonville, lived south of Jacksonville.

Our part of Calvert County is very nice, quiet, mostly rural.

Drifter, of course, is too much of a pussy to reveal any real
information about himself. But you, iSnotty, we'd all be better off
not knowing of your existence.
