Hey Tim...how about that Sid?
When we were talking hockey this afternoon, I forgot to mention local
boy, Sidney Crosby, returning to playing hockey for Pittsburgh after being out over 300 days with a concussion. They are carrying the game here on CBC and Sid picked up a goal and an assist in his team's 2.0 lead after the first period. The opposition isn't the strongest, as the NY Islanders are struggling these days. |

Game over...5.0 for the Penguins. Sid had 2 goals and two assists... not bad for his first game since January. |

I've been reading a bit about him and it's really amazing what you can do when you want to do it. The guy IS impressive. Yes, I'm glad he got in a couple good shots which makes for a good morale on his comback, but don't be swayed about the Islanders, because I don't think they could hold a candle to my favorite team, the St. Louis Blues. Really a fantastic thing because the Blues have been on such a losing streak for so long that when St. Lou wins a match, the fans are disappointed. ?;^ ) |

Your Blues play in Pittsburgh tomorrow night and then the Penguins travel to Ottawa and finally my team, Montreal Canadiens, on the weekend. |
