What is surprising about it? The Republican party is being lead by WAY
out there right wing zealots that are as far from the mainstream
American as the Democrats were 25 years ago. Funny thing is that they
just DON'T get it!

the current congress is the most right wing since the new deal,
according to a recent analysis

What analysis? Got a cite, Bob?

Ha, right... Probably Chris Matthews..

Still have a ****ed up debt worshiping democrat president and pocket
boys senate. Did they not teach the republican system to you in high
school or were you just too damned stupid?

When I started school, there was a Republican president that warned of
the evils of a military industrial complex and the uber rich were
paying taxes at 91%. We had prosperity and the "American Dream" was
achievable. That made sense.

We now have neo-con Republicans that have driven the country into
bankruptcy by giving the uber rich and the corporations both a pass on
taxes and all the corporate welfare they can grab for. The Republicans
ran this country into debt, not the Democrats. Clinton handed a
surplus to Bush and he squandered it on crap this country couldn't
afford. Not only that, we have the military industrial complex running
rampant, but now labor is cheaper in China. (How incredibly smart is
it to have US military hardware made in China?) How stupid do you have
to be to see that this isn't working?

I concede that Obama continued the Republican line and for that reason
I'd just as soon see him go. He earned it.

I agree with this 100%

You'd like to see Obama go, to be replaced by Romney or Gingrich, either
of whom would push this country right over the edge?

You can't be serious.

Where is the incentive to earn when once you reach a certain level of
income you only get to keep 10 cents on the dollar? Why would a salesman
want to go out there and bust his ass if his commissions were on a
diminishing scale? If you tell someone in a job interview that harder
they work and the more they earn that they are going to take home less
pay. That is going to motivate the hell out of them isn't it?

This reminds me of the GTE cell phone salesmen I knew in the late 80's
and early 90's. These guys were out busting their asses selling cell
phone services to companies and individuals. These guys were making
$120,000 to $150,000 a year on a straight commissions. The company
decided that they guys were making too much money so they capped their
commissions at $160,000 per year. The guys worked until they reached
their maximum and then they sat around the office drinking coffee all
day long. Their managers were ****ed because they guys were no longer
bringing in the sales. There was no incentive for the guys to bring in
the sales. The senior executives were furious that they weren't going to
hit their quarterly and yearly numbers and the soon found out that when
you remove the incentive for working people stop working.

We now have neo-con Republicans that have driven the country into
bankruptcy by giving the uber rich and the corporations both a pass on
taxes and all the corporate welfare they can grab for. The Republicans

Frank, Dodd, Reid and Pelosi are the problem with country along with the
gimmie class. The gimmie class is the loafers who want to sit around
Zucotti park all day long sucking Wi-Fi from the local merchants,
tearing their stores and being general slobs. They want someone else to
give them something just because they exist.

I concede that Obama continued the Republican line and for that reason
I'd just as soon see him go. He earned it.

Obama has voted present his entire life. He isn't a leader, he is a
follower. For the first two years in office he let Pelosi and Reid lead
while he followed.

Lying with statistics. GOP hasn't got a single leader, they are
comparing a diluted field of candidates to one sitting president.

Look at it this way, 44% would insanely do 0bama again, which says 56%
will not. Once GOP gets a leader, watch, 0bama is toast.

Oh? Who is going to "toast" Obama? The Grinch? The Suit? The Boehner?
You?

What more evidence do you need to confirm that Canook is crazy when he
predicts Obama is toast "when the GOP gets a leader."

What are the odds the GOP is going to get a leader? Canook's
profession is supposedly accountancy but he's completely blind when it
comes to playing the odds.

Who would entrust their wealth to someone so blinded by ideology?

I've seen nothing convincing from canuckles that would convince he is or
was an accountant. His posts read as if they are coming from a "gold
bug" who has had a series of serious brain injuries.
