Default OT! Chili

The Texas Chili at Hard Times Cafe is pretty good stuff. They sell a mix which is supposed to give
the same flavor as the stuff sold in house. Amazon.com does not carry the mix yet, but they are
apparently planning to do so in the future. They provide for notification when they begin carrying
the product. Perhaps that could be speeded up if more folks requested notification. Here's a place
to do so.

Hopefully, Amazon will sell the stuff cheaper than the restaurant does!

I eat lunch at the Rockville location a couple of times a month.

Amazing. I worked in Rockville for 17 years, all over that area and I
don't even recognize the place (looking at the sat picture)

You can see if when traveling on 270 northbound. You have to get off at
Rt.28 or come in off of 355 past Montgomery College.

Montgomery College is one thing that surprised me. It got a lot
bigger. Did it really swallow the school board?
Of course I remember when it was Montgomery Junior College.
I am not sure that plaza where the restaurant is, was even there in
1983. That might have been cows. I know that whole area from 270 to
355 on Shady Grove road was mostly cows, as was 355 down to the MCBOE,
MC complex. You had a few mom and pop places and a few houses.
I remember when the beer joint called the Blue Fountain Inn became the
Fontainebleau.

Reminds me of when I worked in Reston, VA. The only thing there was
houses, two bars and lots of divorced middle aged women.
