Young women, according to professional blowhard Rush
Limbaugh, are out of control. Not only are they all
?sluts,? but they are also ?overeducated? ? especially
single white ones.

Time to clean up your act, ladies. Stop going to school.
Also, stop having sex. You are endangering the very soul

The first insult was infamously leveled against Sandra
Fluke, the Georgetown law student brazen enough to think
her opinion on contraception might matter to Congress.

The second, only days later, came courtesy of ?El
Rushbo? against ?authorette? (presumably, a miniature
form of an author) Tracie McMillan, whose ?The American
Way of Eating: Undercover at Walmart, Applebee's, Farm
Fields and the Dinner Table? was published in February.

With advertisers fleeing his show and the left
sharpening its daggers against him, this is what the
loggorheic Limbaugh said on Tuesday?s show:

?What is it with all of these young single white women,
overeducated ? doesn?t mean intelligent. For example,
Tracie McMillan, the author of this book, seems to be
just out of college and already she has been showered
with awards, including the 2006 James Aronson Award for
Social Justice Journalism. Social justice journalism.
This woman who wrote the book on food inequality, food
justice, got an award for social justice journalism.?

Crazy, right? Not only did a woman (?just out of
college,? no less) manage to write a book all on her
own, but she thought she could go out and challenge our
love of bacon bits and onion rings. Silly girl.

According to Forbes, McMillan grew up near Flint, Mich.,
and often heard Limbaugh?s show as a child. She was
?distressed? by his attack, but could not have been too
surprised by it.

There is something pathological, though, in Limbaugh
returning to this theme as he faces the opprobrium of
pretty much the entire nation. He seems incapable of
disguising, let alone discarding, his view that women
are inferior in both mind and body.

His derision towards them is not unlike his derision
towards minorities, Muslims and the poor. Their innate
inferiority excuses his attacks, utterly groundless
though they are

Is this really necessary?
