Hey a boating post!

Ed is a swimmer.

He did just demonstrate a great skill tho. We have been throwing
peanuts at him for a couple years and he catches them in the air, He
has translated that skill to catching horse flies on the boat. This
time of year that is a handy skill for us. The flies are nasty in the
bay this time of year.

Yuck. I hope he spits them out.

Ah... catching flies...
One summer I had a job with the maintenance crew in a local park.
The beach lifeguard and I had a little contest catching flies. I used
my hands and he used the lanyard on his whistle.
I only caught around ten while he did much better. I 'earned' my
municipal govt pay that day. ;-)

Our lab was great at catching grapes in the air. Luckily, we never showed off that skill with more
than one or two grapes at a time. I found out later just how poisonous to dogs the damn things can
be.

He's a dog, he thinks they are yummy. I bet there are a lot of people
in the 3d world who do too.

Hmmm. If a bug wanders into the house, my cats will play with it until
it is dead, but...they won't eat it. Cats, obviously, are smarter than
dogs! :)
