On the sidelines of the National Governors Association meeting in
Williamsburg, Virginia, Alabama's Republican governor, Robert Bentley,
called on Romney to release all the documents requested of him.

"If you have things to hide, then maybe you're doing things wrong,"
Bentley said. "I think you ought to be willing to release everything to
the American people."

If Romney releases his tax records for the past 12 years, his goose is
cooked. If he released those records before the GOP convention, he'd be
off the ticket because even the Republicans would realize Romney would
be unelectable. It's not that he's wealthy, it's how he made the money
and where he stashed it to avoid taxes.
