Here you go, moron...right from HP itself: http://tinyurl.com/9q6bvz4 "Do not feed a sheet of labels through the printer more than once. The adhesive backing is designed for one pass through the printer." You stupid old fool! You do realize that's for a LAZER printer, correct? Do you not have an ink jet that you claimed was for photos? Also, do you realize that plain old paper jams also? Do you not want to put paper in your lazer printer for fear of a jam that involves nothing more than taking the toner pack out, removing the jam, and going on? Also, if you read below, the adhesive should be stable to 200 degrees, the temperature of the fuser, therefore why would the labels come off? You need to learn to think instead of google. I do have an EPSON ink jet printer. It's an R1900, which I use strictly for photos. As I stated, my main printer is a laser printer and, as I stated, HP says don't feed labels through a laser printer more than once. Nice try at a recovery, though, moron. The cite I offered was off the HP website, not something I googled. Nothing to do with recovery, asshat. You are stupid and can't think for yourself. You stepped in it once again, and once again showed the wisdom of ignoring your advice. Nope, I can't even remember the last time I had a paper jamb, labels or plain paper in my inkjet. I run used label sheets through it on a daily basis. Uh, when Hewlett-Packard says *not* to do something with your laser printer, I take that as advice worth taking. HP has lots of "cred" in the laser printer business. You, on the other hand, have no cred in anything. Where you aren't thinking is your position that all printers are laser printers. Also, why on earth would HP turn around and say that IF you use labels, make sure the glue can take the fuser heat??? |

I hate the idea of running labels through a laser printer once, but maybe that is because I used to have to fix the damage it can cause. I still keep an old LQ 24 pin printer around for printing labels but it has been so long that I needed more than a couple at a time that I imagine the ink is bad in the ribbons I have. For a "one off" label, I print it on regular paper and seal in on the box with clear packing tape. That is a better label anyway. I've had no problem running sheets of labels through an inkjet printer multiple times. I can't even think of the last time I had any sort of paper jamb. The original point, which, of course, you misunderstood, was about laser printers, not inkjet printers. Now, I have no knowledge of whether reusing label sheets screws up an inkjet printer, but, then, I only use my inkjet printer to print on photo paper. Next time, read before you drool. No, there was no mention of what printer you would use besides the label printer. YOU changed it to laser only when you googled. |

I would strongly recommend you don't use an inkjet to male labels unles you are prepared to cover them with clear waterproof tape. Huh....how does one "male labels"? On a "lazer"printer. You missed that one dummy. Was bonnie really so stupid he couldn't figure out what he meant??? What a dope.. |
