![]() He's been in congress for 13 years and has passed two bills, one naming a post office after Les Aspin and the other having to do with taxation of bow arrows. Ryan is a incompoop sporting a financial plan that rivals Herman Cain's brilliant 999. Best thing is that he'll lose his seat in congress while he's helping Romney lose the election. That's what I call a win-win. |

That's what I call a win-win. The selection of Ryan seems little more than a payoff to the TeaKlanners. I don't know what sort of *major* issue can be made of Ryan himself. He's certainly articulate. Now, nailing Romney for picking such a doctrinaire conservative, that's do-able. Romney...hates the poor. Ryan...hates the old. Romney-Ryan: Not Red - Not Blue...Just White. -- I'm a liberal because the militant fundamentalist ignorant science-denying religious xenophobic corporate oligarchy of modern Republican conservatism just doesn't work for me or my country. |

Pundits are saying the Romney campaign wanted to name someone quickly because they've suffered a couple of horrendous weeks, weakening in the polls. If they don't change the dialogue quickly, they won't recover. Now the dialogue can be about spending and how Ryan will screw all classes excepting the upper. |

He's had a bad 2 weeks but we've had a bad 3 1/2 years. It's time to resurrect the chant for hope and change. |
