Like all gun nuts he has just been sitting there waiting all these years to kill somebody. I hope he rots in solitary for the rest of his miserable life. Where were the police when they youths were breaking into his house? He did not want the police. He wanted to kill someone. The bodies lay there for at least a day before he mentioned it to a neighbor and suggested the police be called. If the police were "protecting and serving" then he wouldn't have to worry about intruders carrying weapons who want to steal from him. If they youths did not commit crimes against the home owner then the home owner would not have needed to kill them. He didn't need to kill them. He wanted to kill them. Trespassers will be shot until they are dead or the firearm's magazine is empty. Sounds like this guy is a killer, not a defender. Fry 'im in the chair. |

Hey, I read it differently then, I read it with a "finishing" shot, after the kid was already clearly down. I didn't read anything about the homeowner yelling up the stairs he was armed and the intruder needed to get out... If my memory is correct, the kids broke a window to get into the house, and the sound of breaking glass woke him up. One of them started to come down the stairs into the room where he was. Being concerned that they were armed, he shot first, several times. Where he went wrong was delivering a final shot at close range after the original threat no longer existed. He lives in a so called "Castle" state where shooting an intruder in your home is permitted if you feel threatened. You are not permitted to fire "execution" shots however, and of course the police should have been notified immediately. It's quite likely that he suffers from some sort of mental impairment. Seriously, are you expecting Scotty to actually comprehend something and not go on an insane rant? **** off Kevin, you frekin' pussy... ---------------------- Probably about the same time you do also. Hey, it's the way I read it. Only saw one write up though and I have been clear with all of my posts that I am not yet clear but "if it happened the way I read it". All of you need to read better... |

I think is interesting that these good liberal folks have convicted this guy without a word of testimony, a hearing or a trial, based on a news story. I think that is what we call a lynch mob isn't it? No. The news story, in the NY Times and elsewhere, is based on what the police said, such as the man did not report to the police on the day of the intrusion and murders because he did not want to disturb the cops' holiday. Seems to me he has pretty much convicted himself unless the papers are making it all up. Fretwell thinks everyone has the right to shoot anyone he or she finds offensive. |

Do you suppose the IRS will show up at your door after you shoot someone for the simple act of knocking on your door to sell you something? |

"the man did not report to the police on the day of the intrusion and murders because he did not want to disturb the cops' holiday" This alone points to the fact that he was a bit crazy. I could see a successful insanity plea. |
