Then why do you hate him so much.. Oh right, I forgot, you are a
progressive, you hate everybody that isn't you...

Don't hate him. He's a joke. I'm an atheist ****forbrains.

As an atheist, please tell us how this Pope, or his immediate
predecessors have adversely affected your life or interfered with your
beliefs.

That's ****ing easy... All the bs about the "sanctity of life" for
one, then there's all the tax revenue that's lost because of the
church. How about all the pedos that get to go to other areas and put
kids at risk or pray on them (not for them). How about promoting
completely nonsense and having politicians cowtow to that bs, then
pass laws in support of it? How about collaborating with the nazis
during WW2? How about their claim that they help the poor when they
cause untold hardship because of their antiwomen ****?

You want a bigger list? How has this religious **** made anyone's life
better? Oh, I can just show up on Sunday, and it doesn't matter what I
did the rest of the week.

The pope isn't a bad guy, but he's stuck in the 12 century.

I've got Urin KF'd, but perhaps you could ask him why he calls himself an 'atheist ****forbrains'?
That seems somewhat self-deprecating.

The Roman Catholic church, led by the pope, has been a regressive
force against every attempt a population control. A major portion of
the world's problems are the result of over population and it's just
going to get worse until a majority of people recognize the issue.

Yeah, that Catholicism in China and India for instance... Still, the
question is unanswered... I think the Muslin/Jew issues are causing just
a bit more trouble than the Catholics not adhering to the Churches anti
birth control desires...

Maybe that's true in third world countries but I don't think the
Catholic church's traditional views on contraception or abortion have
much affect on people in the USA and other "modern" societies, even
among those who are Catholic. For the record, I am not but I know
many who are and virtually all of them practiced contraception methods
that are "forbidden" by the church. For many, church teachings and
traditions are a buffet ... take what you like and leave the rest. I
see nothing wrong with that.

That's all fine as far as it goes but the church has also been a
strong avocate for opposing legislation.

....except it's dismissive bull****. They don't "take what you like"...
You make decisions to follow teachings or not based on your own
experience and your willingness to sin for the mortal life. Sometimes
you decide to let the Lord judge you, not folks here who would "gage"
how much of a Christian somebody is.. as that alone shows a lack of
understanding and tolerance too...
