Default Spring?

Not yet. My little backyard windometer is reporting gusts up to 35 mph
out of the west and northwest, and the temp is in the low 40's. Still,
the cherry blossom tree I planted late last fall to replace a dead
purple plum tree has visible buds on her, so maybe spring really is
around the corner.

Brrrr.

The wind was brutal. Several balls sailed into the water or the woods, even though they started
their flight quite well. Shot a 101 out at Twin Lakes, walking. Brutal.

I recall about two decades ago that we had a fairly heavy snowstorm in
the Washington, D.C., area, in ... *April* !

I'm ready for spring.
