I still like Luan BS1088 for light and strong. That unfinished (bare wood) boat is still in my backyard now nearly ten years, no rot. I would make nice boxes with some Mahogany trim and 9mm 1088 Luan... They would be light and strong.. and they wouldn't rot easily. Still? When is the last time you made a boat? He's had a finished boat in his yard for a decade and hasn't bothered to paint or varnish it? It's still bare wood? Forget trying to put down Scot. Answer the question: When you chamber a round at the range do you then put the pistol aside, or stand around and shoot the ****, such that you need to put the thumb safety on? That would violate your first rule - not ready to fire 'til you're ready to fire. If you've chambered a round, it should be because you're ready to fire - no need to put the safety on, other than to immediately take it off again while aiming. I'm sorry, just what government agent pointed a gun at you and forced you into the program? The IRS and I complied before thy pulled their gun but we all know, if you don't they will come get you. Ask Wesley Snipes. Did they "point a gun" at him?? Snipes? Probably The use of the gun is always implied if you don't comply voluntarily. All laws are ultimately enforced at the point of a gun. That is why cops all carry one. Really? I've gotten speeding tickets, other traffic violations and once when I was young disorderly conduct while on spring break in Ft. Lauderdale. Not once was a gun pointed at me. I had a black Md State cop point a gun at me on the beltway ... but I did have Florida tags. It was a full felony stop (out of the car, lay on the ground, have the car searched etc) He may have been holding a grudge. I got a ticket for going 64 in a 55 on a "pace" and he never claimed I was going any faster. The other cops that stopped to back him up even laughed at him. I did not see any humor in it. I got it tossed in court because he did not show up. I got drawn on once at a stop... I was moving a car for the dealership I worked for, off the clock and was dressed in my leathers head to toe (including my jacket ![]() back seat. The cop pulled me over cause I had no plates on. Forgetting my attire, I got out of my car, and I reached in the back window, threw the bag on the roof of the car, and reached in for the plates ![]() me.... but a few minutes later when he found out who I worked for, we had a good laugh and went on our way... Yeah, dumb you. Well said! Seriously, why are you such a dick? Why do you make and repeat false accusations about other posters, **** for brains? Why do you call names? I have pounded the bushes and nobody seems to make them the size I need, I am using some old tool boxes now (polyethylene) but my wife wants something nicer. Starboard is not really my choice either. This is Auggie RIP on one of the boxes http://gfretwell.com/ftp/Auggie%20on%20watch2.jpg And Mr Ed http://gfretwell.com/ftp/ed%20on%20boat.jpg ======= How about an Igloo cooler (or similar) ? One nice thing about Starboard is that it's easy to work if you have basic woodworking tools like a circular saw and router table. If you radius the corners and edges, and then polish it out, it ends up looking very professionally done. It is also easy to drill and tap. |
