Y-E-S-S-S-S! Good luck to you, Bob. I Hope the boat is worthy and you don't have any hidden issues. Mine won't be ready for at least the middle of May, I'd doing a lot of interior overhauling, but when it's done, I'm hoping it will be ready for the long haul. I hope so. I'm tired of being stranded on shore. ?;^ ) |

We go to one at Rockahock Campground which is on the Chickahominy River. Now, I could easily travel down the Potomac to the Chesapeake, go down to the James River, and head up to the Chickahominy. Hell, other's here have done as much in a day while fishing, so it should be no problem. Might even get some good photos of aircraft carriers being sequestered in Hampton Roads. Couldn't see over the waves. Had a great time. Keep hoping, ESAFOADAD! Salmonbait -- 'Name-calling'...the liberals' last resort. |

Sounds great. Do you have a buddy going with you? It is handy to go out in a group when you are "spring shake down cruising" boats. I hope we can all get back on the water so we will have some boat stories. Ah...boating! It will probably be a month and a half before I launch... although I do have full stand uf canvas on my new fish/ski boat. Took the first step getting ready by picking up a new tow vehicle last Monday. A Toyota Highlander with the V6 and 4WD should make easy work of towing the 2000pound weight of my rig. I'll use the time to make sure I have 1000km on the odometer... the amount recommended before towing. Right now I'm just shy of 300km. I'd hate to tell Johnny and his ilk the colour of the Highlander, he'd cream his depends. |
