You were right..."Threat Vector" was a fun read.
But I wish we'd whomped up on China a little more. That Dong Feng 21 missile is a scary creature. But, it's still a fun read for those looking for a good yarn and not a literary masterpiece. He got himself in some hot water with "The Hunt for Red October" for a while. Some of the data he wrote about was still classified. Not known for sure if he knew that or his imagination just happened to hit upon some "real" capabilities we had at the time. |
