... Very impressive magazine. My hat's off to you chaps... ![]() I think I've gone blind and I totally missed your link (not difficult as I'm very close to being legally blind anyway)... Thankyou very much Paul. It is good to get good positive feedback. Just one correction though.... It is chap, not chap's. I do it all on my own!! It is hard work but, as I said before, it is filling a void that is not covered by any other sailing magazines. The way it works is that when a reader submits a story they receive a credit for it. Each story receives 2 months free credit to their subscription. That way those who would prefer to just sit back and have a good read once per month contribute $2:50 towards the cost's of producing the magazine, and that is fine. Those who want to write articles for everyone else to read, get the magazine for 2 months for free, and that is also great. I guess it's a bit like a co-operative rather than a business! All you have to do, to receive the magazine completely for free, is to submit 1 story every 2 months. We already have a couple of sailers that do that and I think it is a good deal for everyone. Most of our contributors are in Australia and New Zealand. We do have some in England, the USA and Canada but I would like to get more. So if any of you are interested in submitting any stories (with photo's preferably) then feel free to do so. Best regards -- Garry Beattie Ocean Spirit Trailer Sailer & Small Yacht Cruising Emagazine www.ocean-spirit.com |
