Better be careful or being shoved down the stairs will seem like a pat on the back.

Perhaps some government agency has a round with your name etched in it.

The local police must really love Snotty if they pushed him on the
stairs as he once claimed here and since denied.

I grew up in a downtown, slightly seedy, area where we banded together as protection from the endless parade of toughs, thugs, sailors, fishermen, transients,ex cons, you name it passed through or even lived in.
We had a number of minor brushes with the law and were hauled off to the police station on ocassion... once even in a paddy wagon.
No cop ever shoved or threatened to shove me on a flight of stairs.
I'd bet Snottie's big mouth got him in trouble...as happens here daily.

If it's that bad, why don't you move away from there?

Bingo.

I watched once from a safe distance while a short guy like PsychoSnotty
got into an argument with *two* police officers, both women. As the guy
kept arguing, he started making big gestures with his arms and hands,
and both the lady cops put their hands on their pistols. At some point,
I was thinking, "that bozo is going to get himself shot," but, alas, he
was only handcuffed and taken away. I couldn't hear the gist of the
argument.

Must have been a relative of PsychoSnotty, because only a short-tempered
fool would argue with *two* lady cops.

You need to talk your buddy into moving out of that crappy neighborhood
near the docks.
