Wife got a new car yesterday - Volkswage Jetta SportWagon TDI. Yup, when looking at the mileage of
the Highlander, the 40mpg of the Jetta looked pretty damn good.

There...now I've made my contribution to the global climate change problem. The car is fun to drive,
and that little 4 cylinder turbo diesel gives it lots of zing. And, it'll tow 2000 lbs...might have
to get another boat!

My sister has had the sedan version of the Jetta TDI for quite a while and likes it.
Trouble is, diesel up here is often as expensive as gas...sometimes higher.
You do save on the less fuel burned.

There's more to that car making it green than just the turbo diesel, VW
made their new plant in Chattanooga, TN the greenest they could.
Europeans typically take initiative in helping save the planet instead
of the ignorant thinking that man can't possibly harm the planet.
