Default Nova Scotia Bluegrass...

....is alive and well with these guys. They were quite a hit at the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival.

Default Nova Scotia Bluegrass...

Ah...good o'le Bluegrass.
Growing up downtown, one of my classmates father and uncle had a Bluegrass Band known as The Boutlier Brothers.
They lived one block east of us, right on the harbour. Father worked for Cunards Fuel and Oil Co and the storage tank and distribution system to load tanker trucks was right in back of their house.
Anyway, if we went down there to play table hockey..or even ground hockey after hours, we sometimes got to hear them practice.
They seemed to have a fair amount of gigs to perform way back in the 60's.
