This article, posted first by Mr. Luddite, says a great deal.

http://www.angelfire.com/emo2/republican/Manual.htm

There are many things to note, but the first lines in the conclusion offers some great advice:

"Do not get angry, ever"
"Remain calm, cool, collected, and relaxed"

Most of the liberal ideology posted doesn't deserve a loss of serenity. The name-calling especially!

I got a big kick out of reading the different types. The
“Intellectuals” and the “Victims of the Democratic Playing Card
Deck”.
Hilarious, and so easy to relate to.

Oh yes. I doubt if any of the *real* liberals here will see anything of themselves therein however.

Perhaps, one day, you will see that most right wing-nuts don't have
any rebuttal to ANY position remotely left of theirs, other than
flaming invective, hate, and anger. It is rather a way to attack the
messenger, rather than the message, but in a righteous sort of way.

Gosh, you have to start name-calling in the first sentence! No sense in going any further.

You have me at a disadvantage! Whose name did I call?

I can understand that you wouldn't, but I consider 'rightwing-nuts' name-calling.

Unless you are auditioning for the part, I didn't name anybody in
particular. The fact that there are wing-nuts on both sides is well
documented.

I don't see the problem.

That's fine.

You have to remember, John has always thought he was above everyone
else, and if you don't think exactly like he does, then you are wrong.
Period. The trouble is, he's a dolt and doesn't realize it.
