Most of that question comes back to defining the proper role of
government. I personally don't think the government should be in the
health care business. If nothing else it takes away choices and
competition. That's never a good thing.

I lost my cardiologist because of it... I had health care I liked, now I
am really pretty ****ed...

Is this part of the bull**** you were slinging in your doctor's
office not accepting cash payments for service? That's absurd. Just
about every private physician's office gets a billing sheet after you
see the doc, and payment for the co-pay, the treatment, whatever, is
rendered as you leave. If your doctor's office isn't working that way,
there likely is some issue other than payment involved with you.

Aren't you getting your health care insurance through a state subsidized
program for next to nothing? And you're still bitching?
