I'm thinking of getting one of these for the kids to play with. This is pretty small, but it's also
relatively inexpensive. http://www.horizonhobby.com/products...ogy-BLH7480#t2 Anyone have one of these? |

UDI U818A Wow, even with the camera that's not a bad price at all. http://www.amazon.com/UDI-2-4GHz-RC-...cm_wl_huc_item That is just what I'm looking for. But I'll get the U817A. Don't need the camera. http://www.amazon.com/UDI-U817A-2-4G.../dp/B00D3I2NFQ Looks like it could hit a few walls and stay alive. Thanks for the comeback. |

How old are the kids? You'd probably have fun working with them to fly it and put it back together. I'd think that age wise, some degree of good judgement and manual dexterity would be desirable. That's why I don't have one yet. :-) |

Only crashed it a couple times, and nothing broke. http://tinyurl.com/plmbc6r But after seeing Harold's post, that's the one I'd go with. They're able to be flown outdoors, and they use the 2.4GHz transmitter and receivers as opposed to the infra-red on the Syma. That thing is a hell of a buy. |

Not yet, but I've been looking at a few models that can handle my GoPro cameras. That would be a lot of fun and they can be had for around $500. |
