I know nothing about Blackberry cell phones but I know the Droid I

Ok. One of the commentators on CNN explained this. Yes, a
Blackberry
can handle more than one email account however fed regulations at the
time did not allow having a dot gov account on the same device that
also
has a personal email account.

That regulation has been changed now.

I was in the doctor's office. So, are you going to vote for her now.
Is she
believable? Did she do this in the interest of our country?

I would say that she gave a believable story. She admitted that in
retrospect it would have been better to carry two devices and have a
dot.gov email account.

The only testiness she showed was when she was asked if she'd go along
with an impartial review of the private server and of the emails she
did
not release. In typical Hillary fashion she made it clear .... "No".

Will I vote for Hillary? Hell no, and it has nothing to do with
emails.
I could never in good conscience knowingly vote for a deceitful,
dishonest liar for POTUS.

Well, then, you certainly won't be voting for any of the lying repubs

Could be. I'd rather not vote.

Well, you could always throw your vote away on some bat**** crazy

I don't do that. If there is not a candidate that I can support or
trust, I won't vote. Happened before. The support or trust can become
lost due to actions after being elected but I can't support someone
who I know is deceitful or a liar before they are elected.

That's Hillary.

I can't see that. If nothing else, I will vote for what I believe to be the 'lesser
of two evils'. The idea of letting the 'greater of two evils' become president
because I don't 'like' either of the candidates is a copout, IMHO.

Call it what you will but I'll be dipped if I am going to vote for
someone who's a demonstrated liar for POTUS. I don't care which party
they are members of.

I was keying more on this sentence, "If there is not a candidate that I can support
or trust, I won't vote."

If both candidates are proven liars, like Hillary, then choice becomes which liar
will do the country the most good or least harm.

In my opinion the biggest liars in recent decades about things that
mattered were Reagan and George W. Bush, although I'm not sure Bush knew
he was lying, since he was regurgitating what Cheney and the neocons
were telling him to say. Reagan knew better and was a liar, anyway.
Nixon was a liar about things that mattered, and so was Johnson.

Were they demonstrated liars *before* taking office in your opinion?
If so, could you justify voting for them?

I could never justify voting for George W. Bush or Reagan. I could have
voted for George H.W. Bush even though he was part of the Reagan
Iran-Contra bull****, but I didn't. I couldn't have voted for Dubya; I
thought he was a moron.

Hillary says she set up her own server because it was more "convenient" than carrying two devices, one each for her government and personal emails accounts. So the U.S Secretary of State could find no person in the vast employ of the federal government that could set up a smart phone to connect to two different email accounts. Like I did in three minutes with my ****ty little $49 Tracfone piece of crap. No, it was far more convenient to buy a server, have it set up in her house, establish her own domain, and set up multiple email addresses for her to keep track of (on God knows how many devices). Set aside whether she did anything wrong, or is holding back from the government or the American people: of itself this response is laughable and insulting. Democrats should be screaming for better. Anyone who buys this will swallow anything that Hillary decides to dish out....which, of course, is what the Clintons are counting on.

As to her 'convenience' explanation, yesterday's NYT commented:

"Mrs. Clinton’s explanation that it was more convenient to carry only one device
seemed at odds with her remark last month, at a technology conference in Silicon
Valley, that she uses multiple devices, including two kinds of iPads, an iPhone and a
BlackBerry. She said then: “I don’t throw anything away. I’m like two steps short of
a hoarder.”

Later, in the same article:

"In 2007, Mrs. Clinton, then a senator from New York and candidate for the Democratic
presidential nomination, accused the George W. Bush administration of using “secret
White House email accounts” along with secret wiretaps and military tribunals.

“You know, our Constitution is being shredded,” she said at the time."

I suppose she changed her attitude about the Constitution.

Not to defend her but:

1. According to Hillary the home "server" was originally set up for
Bill Clinton, not for her. She just used it.

2. At the time it was against federal regulations to have a government
email address on a mobile device that also had a different, personal
email address programmed in it. That regulation has since changed.

All that tells mew is Bill wanted absolute control over his data too.
I agree it is going to be more secure than using Google Mail, which is
pretty much like doing business on a public bulletin board.
The issue is when they decide to delete something it is lost and gone
forever.
There was some blonde GOP bimbo on CNN last night insisting they
wanted the hard drives,. How stupid is this woman? Do you still have
the same hardware you were running 5 years ago? What makes her think
these are even the same hard drives. The other side of this is any
decent "secure" server would be shredding that data, not just marking
the sectors available. It would overwrite any released sector with
hash data. Over time they will be overwritten anyway, particularly if
you run your drives on the "full" side.

2. At the time it was against federal regulations to have a government
email address on a mobile device that also had a different, personal
email address programmed in it. That regulation has since changed.

The point of that is they do not want personal and government data
intermingled so she loses on that one too.

The hard drive in the laptop I am using right now is almost 6 years old
and it has been used daily since May of 2009. I also have a couple of
external USB hard drives that I save anything important enough to keep.
It only they run is once in a great while when I transfer some files
to it and then shut it off. I figure it will last quite a while.

I'll bet that "bimbo" you saw was Brianna Keilar. I'll admit she's one
of the reasons I like watching CNN. Good looking chick, born in
Australia, graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she
received dual bachelor's degrees in Mass Communications and Psychology.
Not exactly a bimbo in my book.
