That seems like a lot of plane for the money. Do you already have a
6 channel xmtr/rcvr?

Cool plane. Just be aware that you'll need to be very good with your trainer to handle this. A low wing warplane is going to fly much differently than that high winged trainer.

Think of it this way... the high wing with the dihedral that a trainer has makes it tend to self-correct. If you bank it and take your hands of the sticks, it will naturally fall back to level flight as the mass of the fuselage under the wing pulls it back to level. With the wing under the fuse, that doesn't happen. It will stay in a bank (turn) until you straighten it out.

When learning, that's the saving grace of a trainer. But once you've got it nailed and have moved on to aerobatic planes, trainers can be frustrating to fly. It feels like everything is mushy and disconnected.

Apprentice.
