Yeah man "Everything" is for sale for the "right price". It'd be nice to have a craft like that, but for the rare seasonable boating I do (limited to time) I'm afraid that kind of a craft at my place would be a waste. |

I've never measured it, but going slow without stirring up too much mud I'd think 3 feet or so. Up on plane (and yes, it does plane out), it probably drafts less than 1-1/2 to 2. However, I get nervous when the depth finder drops below 10. Those stainless props aren't cheap. ![]() |

Lower end and transom repairs arnt cheap either.
A three ft depth would be about right though one thing about this pontoon is that it comes with a couple large MinKota trollers I think for that reason . If it gets too shallow for the outboard you tilt it and use the trollers. Not really sure about that, or they might have used them for some quiet cruising time. I do know this pontoon was used on the Wabash with the sand bars... |

It was basically an overgrown Jon boat with a center console and seating for about 12 people or so. Like all Jon boats it was absolutely flat bottomed and the engine was a Yamaha outboard that had a jet drive conversion on the lower unit. We were running in less that a foot of water much of the time on the Chilkat River which is very shallow with braided sandbars. We ran aground several times and the young lady who was running the boat would just jump in with her waders and push us off. http://outboardjets.com/ http://www.tourdispatch.com/images/stories/Haines/eagle_preserve_wildlife_river_adventure/chilkat_river_aerial_with_bridge.jpg http://www.tourdispatch.com/shore-excursions/haines-alaska/152-eagle-preserve-wildlife-river-adventure.html |
