Here we get up into the mid 40's during the day but most nights tend to dip just below freezing.
Every day there are reports of roofs caving in because of the snow/ice buildup. Today it was my old high school...empty since the new one opened in 2007 and a lumber mill building on the edge of the city.
I had a ice dam problem with some water entering the house. I probably should cut holes in the walls to dry them out. Spring is usually slow to show it's face here.

Don it seems this winter has been really cold and really long. We had a bunch of snow but not anything like Richard had to tolerate.

If it wasn't for the time change and longer days I'd be beyondy wits end by now.

I've always thought February was the worse month, and this year it
seemed to extend well into March.

Spent the day after breakfast with friends at the DMV renewing license.
First appointment was not for weeks and b'day was today. But wearing
shorts. Warm, but winds are cranking up.

You should hire a professional for that. Mold has likely already moved in.

The purpose of our latest camping trip was to 'de-winterize' the rigs. So, Friday we
drained all the antifreeze out of the system, filled the hot water tank, etc. Then
they predicted temps in the 20's for Saturday night. Well, we'd not brought
anti-freeze, so I just let the water in my rig trickle all night and drained the gray
and black water tanks, leaving them open to the sewer. We didn't have any problems.
The guy next to us was running his furnace, which keeps the 'basement' where the
tanks and water lines are, warm enough not to freeze. But, his fresh water intake
hose froze, so he had no water this morning. Had to bring the hose into his shower
and let it thaw!

All in all a good trip though.
