Default I'm proud...

Congratulations to my great nephew. He just inlisted in the U.S. Navy and ships out in January. Last year his brother joined the U.S. Army.
I'm short on total details but regardless.
I'm proud of my guys. They're smart and will do well.

Probably doesn't need it since he was smart enough to choose Navy, but
encourage him to take advantage of all the schools and education
programs offered.

Great Lakes in January isn't the funnest place on earth to be. Good luck
and safe journeys to your nephews. Be sure to thank them for their
service. Service people need all the support they can get, because there
are those among us who disparage them because of their own ignorance,
shame, jealousy, and cowardice.

Thanks Richard. He like his army brother wants to enter a medical career if possible, and I'm sure he'll take advantage of any opertunity available. He's had two years of jr. College and has had EMT experience and training.

I'm not sure about Great Lakes. He's in Hawaii and will probably have basic there. Not really sure how he'll be shifted around though.

Yay! Pats on the back. Be sure to send him some boxes of pogey bait while he's in
training.
