Default Carly spreads it thick...

Remember when Carly Fiorina said she had a child who died because of
illegal drugs?

Bull****. Fiorina never had any children.

The person who died was her husband’s daughter, and she wasn’t a
child…she was 35 years old.

She died of alcohol and legal prescription drug abuse, not abuse of
illegal drugs.

Did Carly make you think her very own teen-aged daughter died of illegal
drug use?

Gotcha.

Not so much

I think a step daughter who died from drugs is close enough for
political purposes. If she was not prescribed these drugs herself,
they were illegal and getting old does not make someone stop being
your kid.

You don't have any do you?

I didn't actually pay much attention to that but I really don't care
about any of these stories. **** happens.

"My husband, Frank, and I buried a child to drug addiction," the usually stoic Fiorina said, holding back tears.

Child: a son or daughter of any age.

She was completely accurate, and we all know who's spreading it on thick here.

Drugs? No.

Kids and grandkids, yes.

And my comment was not aimed at "the kid" who died, but Fiorina trying
to make it seem as if "the kid" were hers and was much younger than 34.

I am impressed by Fiorina's successful to date fight against breast cancer.

It is just typical political puffing and not nearly as egregious as
Hillary's "dodging sniper fire" adventure in Bosnia.
Carly may be a great person but I do not think that makes her a good
candidate. I agree with the people who say her job at HP was a
negative.
It was the typical; slash and burn corporate raiding that went on in
the late 90s.
I wouldn't vote for Gerstner either.

It wasn't at all egregious. Nor was Carson's comment Sharia styled Muslims. (Not
to add to the subject or anything.)
