I like unique firearms and this is one for the collection but also one
that I will also shoot and maybe use to hunt. They Steyr AUG is the
classic bullpup but this is more refined and easier on the eyes...

I still prefer the Ruger Mini-14.

It's going to be interesting when someone breaks into Alex's tract
house, holds a gun to his wife/girlfriend's head, and gets Alex to load
those 45 guns into the back end of an SUV. Hope someone forwards the
news clip.

You know, one might consider 'wishes' like that a sign of sickness.

One of your many issues, Johnny, is that your language skills are no
better than those of a slow-witted fifth grader. I did not state or
imply I wished a "break in" on "Alex." I simply said such an event would
be "interesting."

American Rifleman did a segment on how the French have embraced the
mini 14 as their go to small arm for police and paramilitary
organizations. They made some minor alterations like putting the "USA"
markings under the wood on the receivers. Some were selective fire.
Other European countries have followed

Based upon limited observations, I would say the Mini 14 is
significantly more reliable than many of the similarly priced "AR15"
type rifles I see at the range. The Colt and other medium to high end
ARs are reliable, but some of the el cheapos seem to have issues with
feeding from standard polymer magazines and jamming generally. The Mini
14s seem to fire just about every time with no issues. It is worth
pointing out, though, that a small percentage of the jams I've seen at
the outdoor range are with the ****ty Russian "steel cased" ammo.

Yes, you did.

Now go revel in yourself.

And, I think you should have saved #45 for a .45!

It's not too late, just dispose of that Mini 14 you've probably got hidden under that pile.
