Local TV station's supper hour show had one of it's people (former ladies world champion curler) down at Point Pleasant Park asking people what they would do if they won your Powerball 1.4 billion dollar prize.
Yes... seems silly ..I'm not sure if you can even get tickets up here. Anyway I did right by the group..or at least by the few boaters in here. I said I'd buy a large yacht. Probably should have led with family, charities etc...but she caught me by surprise and that was the first thing out of my mouth. |

You can always spend some of the money taking the family and the disadvantaged for rides on the yacht, good food, entertainment, medical care, whatever. -- Ban idiots, not guns! |

Don't get to excited, if you take the lump sum payment, after taxes you'll be lucky to have $600 Million to scrimp by on. I'm frugal though, that could last the rest of my life :-) Mikek |

I think I would get some new tires for my wife's Lincoln ... .... then give it to the Salvation Army ;-) The ironic thing is, that the more money lottery winners get, the sooner they are broke. I do think I would give a lot of the money away but not to scammers and casinos. It might be fun to run a "Habitat" type organization building cheap homes for people who need one. Either that or **** it all away on hookers and blow. |
