You go, guy! Nothing like a nice evening ride out there in the country. Here it seems to take 45 minutes to get to a decent riding area. Better post a picture or two. You're probably making Harry feel badly. I havent' heard about any of his 'Ducati' escapades lately. How's the seat on that thing? Comfortable? I'm not a fan of the seat, John. the manufacturers give you their idea of what comfort is, and their idea isn't the same as mine. Mine is totally different than having a "King/queen" seat that you can't move around on and are stuck in one position. The old original GL1000 was much more comfortable. But I'll be getting a stack of gel-pacs to compensate for it's short comings. and it'll be fine. I also cant see spending a huge sum of money for a custom built saddle that I may be just as disappointed in. so... |

We see a lot of motorcycles riding in trailers and pick me ups. I guess the owners are afraid to break in the saddles or wear the little nibs off the tires. I hear that's a normal procedure for bike been in Daytona, and even Sturgis.. You can always tell the trailer queens. They're the ones with the out of state plates with not one bug or even a sprinkle of dust on them... |

Here's the pad I'm using: http://tinyurl.com/gqw9p4j The extra big size may be better for the Gold Wing: http://tinyurl.com/zzkkjr9 I absolutely love mine. Don't know how I ever got along without it. I had to raise my windscreen a bit to compensate for the additional height, but that wasn't a big problem. |

I ride them. But I can see where putting a Ducati on the back of a pick up truck can be the thing to do, especially if you want to make some sort of a statement. http://gallery.ducatispot.com/image_db/kerry/5373.jpg D'oh. "In" the back is not the same as "on" the back. I had a lot of "stuff" to take up there with me, and the truck easily holds all of it. |

Isn't there some Klanboree to which you should be towing your motel room? |

I've heard that's the way some folks ride - throw the bike in the back of the truck. Why the name-calling? Did something I said **** you off? Tell us again about your 'Ducati'. Does it fit on your 'Volvo-powered trawler'? Do you *ever* not lie? You're ever the asshole, Racist John Herring. You missed the question. The name has gotten longer. Does that mean you're *more* ****ed off? All I do at you, Racist John Herring, is laugh. |
