By GARRISON KEILLOR It is the most famous ducktail in America today, the hairdo of wayward youth of a bygone era, and it’s astonishing to imagine it under the spotlight in Cleveland, being cheered by Republican dignitaries. The class hood, the bully and braggart, the guy revving his pink Chevy to make the pipes rumble, presiding over the student council. This is the C-minus guy who sat behind you in history and poked you with his pencil and smirked when you asked him to stop. That smirk is now on every front page in America. It is not what anybody — left, right, or center — looks for in a president. There’s no philosophy here, just an attitude. He is a little old for a ducktail. By the age of 70, most ducks have moved on, but not Donald. For a lot mo http://tinyurl.com/z9mruh8 You now look to Garrison Keillor for political analysis? |

It's more commentary on the American scene then political commentary, though I am not surprised you fail to see the difference. Keillor is a very bright and well-known and respected commentator. His work product has received many awards in many genres. I'm sure, of course, that he doesn't meet the standard of the mooks on your side of the political fence. |

- show quoted text - I'd guess you were an "evangelical christian voter" type. Your comments about Garrison and awards are just...stupid. ---- I am one of those so called "evangelical Christian" types and who I vote for is no ones business. My comments about Garrison aren't nearly about as stupid as his prose you posted... |
