There is never enough storage space.

Any wood is bad wood.

All fastenings WILL rust.

Batteries ONLY fail when you most need them.

Full sized people can not work on generators or air conditioners.

The list could grow to several pages. Yep, it's kinda fun.

? Flares are like blessings, you can never have too many.

A cheap date does not involve a boat.

Any repair will take twice as much time and three times as much money as you
initially anticipted.

A boat makes the good times better and the bad times worse. If your life is
one bad day after another - you'd best not step aboard.

The holding tanks's "full" light is programmed to come on when the anchor
bites.

The simple little tool you need to fix the problem you're facing is back at
the dock.

The amount of skill and finesse you display while docking is inversely
proportional to the number of people watching.

One rope will tangle, 2 will become a solid mass.

Your anchor will:
Drag in a current.
Hang solid when retrieving.
Come untied when you least expect it.
And when you REALLY need it, will have been lost overboard; left home;
borrowed; broken; rusted solid; misplaced.
