Default Underway All Night Run to St Mary's Inlet/Fernandina Beach, FL

After carefully considering the likely storm track and our options,
we've decided the safest place to be later in the week is northern
Florida. So we've left North Carolina a bit earlier than planned and
are making a run for it. Conditions on the ocean are good right now
and are expected to stay that way for the next couple of days.

It depends, sometimes as much as 120 nautical miles, usually less
however. Right now we're about 15 NM off the coast of Brunswick, GA.

120 out, that seems like quite a ways for me. Then again, I'm a lake boater. LOL! Glad your trip is going well..

Fair winds and all that. My daughter in Savannah is looking for a generator, just in case.

I see you are still in North Florida. I am surprised you did not make
a run for the Okeechobee waterway. This thing looks like it will just
be an east coast thing.
They are saying you will have a Cat 3 offshore in Jax on Thursday

We're leaving on Wednesday morning for a place called Murphy's Creek
in the far southern St John's River. It's well inland and well
protected. Stay tuned.
