I'm waiting for the 9 o'clock hour to roll around so I can crank up the leaf blower without ****ing off the neighbors too much. Chop down those oaks and plant evergreens or palm trees. Your oak leaves aren't like yankee oak leaves. I ran over the oak leaves in Maryland too. You must not have lived with queen palms. They drop all sorts of crap other than just the fronds. This yard was full of them and back on FPL there are a bunch that just grew wild. I am killing them off as fast as I can but they are hard to get rid of. The trunks kill a chain saw pretty quickly. |

Raking leaves is about as nasty as shoveling snow. The tree cutters around here want from $2000 to $4000 to take down one of these buggers. They're way too big for me to mess with. I stop at about the 8-inch caliper. |

After that there are just too many leaves. |
