They say the Maryland state flag is racist. The Southern part of
Maryland, where Harry lives flew the red and white part (The Crossland
Arms) during the late unpleasantness and now it has to go. The
Crossland Arms is the coat of arms of the Baltimore family (lord
Baltimore's mother) so I suppose they have to rename the city too.
After the war they joined the Calvert coat of arms (the black and
yellow part the northern part of Maryland flew) with the Crossland
coat of arms as a sign of unity.
**** unity, some snowflakes are suddenly offended. It has to go.
"What's next" certainly seem,s to be a valid question.

I also hear they are changing the name of Washington and Lee
University to "Washington and the traitor who remains unnamed".

You seem really obsessed. I never paid the slightest attention to the
Maryland flag and I doubt I will in the future. Maybe the state will
come up with a new flag depicting a striped bass or an oyster. That
might be cool.

You never paid no nevermind to the statuary of confederate
soldiers until your fellow snowflakes declared them offensive.
Get a life boys and girls.

Nothing is funnier here than a pussy like you, who hides behind
anonymity so he can insult others without fear of getting punched in the
nose, calling anyone else a snowflake. BTW, I missed your response: when
do your kids make parole?

Harry, the only person in this newsgroup who ever felt seriously
threatened by anyone was you and you called the police. I think it was
twice (two different people) and I have a hazy memory about you
contacting the FBI about one of them.

You aren't about to punch anyone in the nose.

The little guy who intimidated Harry stood 5'7". He was from Ct.
Who was the other guy?

I can't remember but he had Harry very worried. It was many years ago
..... way before Scott of CT.

nation.
I am not obsessed, just reporting the facts.
I doubt you paid any attention to Lee until you were told to.
I am willing to bet you didn't have a clue about your state flag until
I told you yesterday. I will admit that although I did know about the
Crossland and Calvert connections (I did go to a Maryland school for
3-8), I did not know it was racist until I heard about this
controversy.
I am sure you will put on your pussy hat and march on Annapolis as
soon as you get your marching orders from the revisionist lefty
snowflakes who became suddenly offended.
I am sure that

I already told you I had no interest in Maryland’s flag. But that doesn’t
seem to interfere with your wild imagination.

I doubt you cared about some obscure statue anywhere either, until you
were told how horrible it was. If trump says something about the flag
your snowflake friends will tell you the flag is racist and you will
be marching in your pussy hat.

You might consider cutting back on the drugs. Not one person I know
personally has even mentioned anyone’s flag since a discussion a year ago
of the
so-called confederate flag.

It is a thing right now in Maryland. You just have not heard the call
to pussy hats.
http://www.baltimoresun.com/features...803-story.html

And once again, I don't give a damn about the Maryland flag or, really
any other flag, and I think the Star Spangled Banner is a bad song with
nearly impossible to sing music and banal lyrics. In the latter regard,
it is not much different than other national anthems, though Edith Piaf
does a hell of a job with La Marseillaise.

I drove right through Huntingtown and I couldn't get Harry to meet me
for a beer or a cup of coffee. I spent 3 days in the area.

The day you suggested I was busy.

Seems to be a habit with you. Here's a blast from the past ... 1994 or
1995 or so. You announced you were traveling to Boston for some purpose
and asked if anyone could recommend a place to go fishing. I was new to
rec.boats then and offered to take you out fishing on the boat I had at
the time. In fact, Justan was going to join us. I made the offer to
you but suddenly you no longer had the time.

Then the famous encounter with Peggie Hall at the boat show. You
described her here, told us how you walked by the booth a couple of
times but never had the courage to go up to her and introduce yourself.
Can't blame you. Even back then she probably would have called security
based on the way you treated her here.

I've had the pleasure of meeting up with a few of the rec.boats
participants over the years. Obviously, I've known Justan for many
years and we've had a few beers back when we drank beer.
There was another guy ... Charlie ... who went by the handle
"Wavelength" also. He had a boat in the same marina.

I also met up with a guy who used to post here who lived in San Diego.
Mrs.E. and I were taking a trip out there for a friend's wedding and we
met up with the guy and his wife for dinner at a restaurant. Nice
couple. Can't remember his name. Again, this was many moons ago.

Can not, remember his name either. But he kept the boat in SD in the summer
and lived in Arizona. Wife and I went out for a day on his boat. Very
nice couple.

Maybe Harry is just shy.

Harry's about as shy as Donald Trump is shy.

Rick and I used to worry about you when we didn't hear from you for a
while. :-)

I have a pretty good memory for an old fart. I still have the portable
light that you sent many years ago. I think I sent you a CD of the
"Delta Generators" later.

I don't remember that Boston possibility, and I don't think you do,
either. There was a long line of people waiting to meet up with Peggy at
the Annapolis show, and I didn't feel like waiting. I was busy the day
Fretwell was available; I'm not retired, and had other obligations.

These days, there's probably only one person I'd care to meet up
with...Nova Scotia Donnie. There used to be more, but they've
left...there was a Canadian boat dealer, a sailing boat guy from Philly,
and, of course, Larry from South Carolina. He was interesting and
bizarre...attributes I find appealing.

The rest of you, all righties, nah.
