![]() .... and probably everyone else too. Our small town fire department, police and EMS responded to a house fire early this morning. They were able to get the residents out safely and put out the fire although there was heavy fire and smoke damage inside. When entering they discovered the family cat laying unconsciousness on the floor. They applied CPR and oxygen to the cat and were able to revive it. It was then taken to a local animal hospital and word is it is going fine. The EMS guys are equipped with special CPR and mask equipment for use on animals. This is a link to a Facebook pic. Hopefully it works: https://tinyurl.com/ybsq2nwl |
