Foot Photos
Got the splint and wrapping off yesterday. Doc says some areas still need some healing time so will
leave stitches in another week. Wife took some pictures for your sadistic viewing enjoyment! First, my favorite doctor. http://oi65.tinypic.com/2lax181.jpg Next, the incision as of yesterday. The circled areas show where the incision has not approximated. http://oi65.tinypic.com/24xgj83.jpg Now the fun stuff. This doctor loves hardware. I asked if he ran the battery down on his DeWalt cordless drill. He said, "That's exactly what we use!" Prognosis is another five weeks with no weight on the foot whatsoever. More knee scooter time, no walking, and no driving.
