These days any picture you take could easily end up on the internet and be copied a million times. Don't take any pictures you don't want on TMZ. |

I was just watching a couple of attorneys talking about Barton. In their opinion the ex-girlfriend could be subject to a misdemeanor charge in Texas, with up to a year in jail and/or a $4k fine. There are laws in some states about doing this if you can prove that you had a reasonable expectation of privacy. If it is actually illegal in Texas I think a civil suit might be more devastating for the leaker. It would be easy to prove far more than $4k in damages. I really have mixed emotions on this because sending the picture was the Acme of foolishness in the first place. |
