It will really be troubling if they found something they were not
looking for as fruit of this raid because that had to be a very
narrowly defined warrant.
I agree this is knee deep, legal **** but that is why they are called
lawyers. Trump may very well finish his term and be retired in Mar A
Lago before all of these cases have worked their way through the
courts. I am starting to think he will walk away after the term ends
in 2020 tho unless he actually shows some concrete accomplishments
that the democrats will look silly denying. He already has a few that
everyone is ignoring.

Trump's tax cut, which really is the Republican Congress tax cut, is
beginning to smell really bad. I am not aware of anything Trump has done
to help the country or the ordinary non-wealthy American.

You folks in the blue states may not see much from the tax cut but it
is extra money in the pocket of those people who voted for trump.
It won't be a lot of money because they don't pay a lot of income tax
anyway and more will be in that category who pay no tax or even get
more money back than they paid in.
You also can't ignore that ISIS has been beaten back a bit.
The number of Americans coming home from the wars in body bags is way
down.
The economy is moving along nicely and if he comes out of this food
fight with better trade deals than we had that is a win. That is still
a toss up tho.

I can remember Mrs.E. and I getting all excited because we got $1,000
back as an income tax refund. It was more meaningful then than later
in life when having extra money was not as difficult or important.

In fact, Mrs.E. still gets all excited when she wins $100 on a lottery
scratch ticket.
