![]() The Senate Foreign Relations Committee just voted (sorta) to recommend Pompeo for a full senate vote for Sec. of State. There were some surprises. First, Rand Paul announced he changed his mind and now supports Pompeo to be the next SOS. Then, one Republican on the committee was absent due to attending a funeral. Vote was tied, 10 to 10. But then Senator Chris Coons (D) announced that he would change his vote from "no" to "present". That broke the tie and Pompeo received a favorable recommendation. Maybe Dems aren't always jackasses. |

Maybe they;re learning that by being agreeable, you present yourself in a better light. John Boehner never did figure that out. |
