You're not far from my son's store in Mt. Pleasant. It's
just inland from the Isle of Palms Marina.

Stop in, introduce yourself and grab a bottle for your
voyage. Tell Steve to put it on my tab. :-)

Palmetto 80 Liquors
1985 Riviera Dr #102
Mt Pleasant, SC 29464

His shop is noted for carrying many high-end liquors not
usually available in most liquor stores. He gets a lot
of ICW boaters especially in the fall who are heading
for Florida or Bermuda. Some have been stocking up
at his place for years whenever they pass through and
often spend thousands to prepare for the winter stay,

His place has been voted Best Liquor Store in the Charleston/Mt.
Pleasant area several times.

Thanks, very generous offer but we decided to run offshore today.
Maybe we can catch him on the return run this fall.

Finessing your way back south during hurricane season can be a big
adventure also. We got caught up in hurricane Matthew two years ago
and it turned into a real saga. All's well that ends well but there
were some very tense moments.
